The entire 2012 Liancarlo collection (and all past season favorites!) will be at Little White Dress from Friday, February 10th to Sunday, February 12th, for fanciful brides to find their most amazing wedding gown.

What makes Liancarlo gowns so special???  Each is conceived, designed, sewn and finished at Liancarlo’s atelier in Miami, sewn by one seamstress from it’s first stitch to it’s last, then embroidered and finished by a specialist specifically chosen for the style of gown using the European couture tradition.

What else makes the Liancarlo experience unique and super special???  In addition to his talents as a wedding gown and evening gown designer, Liancarlo’s Carlos Ramirez is an artist!  During trunk shows, after a bride purchases a Liancarlo gown, she can send a photo from her wedding day to Carlos, who will create a custom painting of the bride and groom and send it back upon completion.

We got to thinking…with so many gorgeous style boards all over wedding sites like The Knot, StyleMePretty, COUTUREcolorado and many others, why don’t WE create our OWN version!

In one of our past blog posts, The Perfect Dress For Your Perfect Shape, we focused on exactly that – helping you determine the proper styles and shapes that work best for your body type. So what’s the next thing to consider when looking for and finding The One? None other than dress COLOR!

Selecting YOUR best white (or color!) all comes down to your skintone, so once you determine your tone category, get a move on picking your little white dress (LWD!) – be it starck or natural white, diamond white, ivory, champagne, tan…or even pink (think Gwen Stefani)!

FIRST: Determine your skintone! Are you divalicously dark? Medium with glowing yellow undertones? Ostentatiously olive? Light with pretty pink undertones? Or are you the Fairest of The All?

NEXT: Find YOUR white! Here are a few dress suggestions that will work, no matter what color category you are!

1) Dark: Stark white is a great option, but your skintone is one of the luckiest. Why? Almost ANY shade of white will look glam on you, even a pale cocoa or peachy hue! Our Justin Alexander Style 8461 would provide a great contrast, as seen here:

2) Medium with glowing yellow undertones: An off-white to creamy, yellow-ivory selection is best for your skintone. 3) Olive skintones: A champagne color or diamond white is best for youf tone, as can be seen here. This is Matthew Christopher’s “Katerina” – and he will also be here IN PERSON for his trunk show, March 17-19.

4) Fair and pink undertones: In order to balance your skintone, and to bring out your smooth, creamy glow, ivory workes best for you!
