His collection is exclusive to LWD in all of Colorado. Here’s Matthew with Cate, Malea, Courtney and Julie – he’s such a cutie and SO, SO talented!

In one of our past blog posts, The Perfect Dress For Your Perfect Shape, we focused on exactly that – helping you determine the proper styles and shapes that work best for your body type. So what’s the next thing to consider when looking for and finding The One? None other than dress COLOR!

Selecting YOUR best white (or color!) all comes down to your skintone, so once you determine your tone category, get a move on picking your little white dress (LWD!) – be it starck or natural white, diamond white, ivory, champagne, tan…or even pink (think Gwen Stefani)!

FIRST: Determine your skintone! Are you divalicously dark? Medium with glowing yellow undertones? Ostentatiously olive? Light with pretty pink undertones? Or are you the Fairest of The All?

NEXT: Find YOUR white! Here are a few dress suggestions that will work, no matter what color category you are!

1) Dark: Stark white is a great option, but your skintone is one of the luckiest. Why? Almost ANY shade of white will look glam on you, even a pale cocoa or peachy hue! Our Justin Alexander Style 8461 would provide a great contrast, as seen here:

2) Medium with glowing yellow undertones: An off-white to creamy, yellow-ivory selection is best for your skintone. With the more recent trend to steer away from stark whites for certain tones, there are a wide array of options for you out there! Here’s one in our store for you – “Madeleine” by Claire Pettibone. CLaire HERSELF will be here for her trunk show, March 25-27, so make your appointment today because they ARE filling up!

3) Olive skintones: A champagne color or diamond white is best for youf tone, as can be seen here. This is Matthew Christopher’s “Katerina” – and he will also be here IN PERSON for his trunk show, March 17-19.

4) Fair and pink undertones: In order to balance your skintone, and to bring out your smooth, creamy glow, ivory workes best for you! We’re having a St. Pucci Trunk Show on March 5th, so make an appointment to come in and try on style 541X by Avine Perucci, part of the St. Pucci collection – the front seen here and back seen here.

Brrrrrr, Denver! If you live nearby, you know ALL about the cold, cold, COLD weather we’ve had this week!

So, while we were going to write about ”Warming Up With Winter Wedding Fabulousity,” our new shipment of AMAZING Liancarlo gowns came in and stole our breath away, and we just had to play Dress Up instead! Here are a few of the pics we took while playing around – these gowns you absolutely MUST SEE to believe. And don’t tell our husbands (who we love immensely!), but we fell in love all over again (and even picked our “vow renewal gowns”!)…and we know you will, too.
