Caroline + Blake's Striking San Miguel, Mexico Wedding

Caroline and Blake married in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Their aesthetic was carefully selected to mirror their bright and bold surroundings of deep greens, bright pops of red and pink, alongside warm, creamy terracotta. The bride and groom’s personalities jump of the page in every single detail chosen for their wedding, in addition to their obvious joy to be married to one another!

Caroline chose the exquisite Melony gown and matching veil by Mira Zwillinger. Melony features a lace corset accented with 3D flowers with a rich printed silk organza skirt. Caroline customized her gown by adding ostrich feather accents, and by creating matching detachable cuff sleeves.

When we asked the bride about her experience finding her gown, she said “I honestly had no idea what I was looking for in a dress. Wedding dress shopping was emotionally exhausting for me. I went to 3 or 4 shops before LWD and when I walked into LWD it was like a sense of calm. It was so gorgeous - just everything I wanted out of my experience. I had always admired Mira's dresses online and was ecstatic to see them in person. I tried on ALL of them and ultimately thought I wanted the Melony. But before deciding, I had to go back to my hotel and take a nap. When I woke up, I knew that was my dress and we went back over and purchased. I always thought I wanted something edgy but when I put on the romantic lace, it was love at first sight.”
