An August Evening in Aspen

145 Rocky Mountain Bride Shoot.JPG

We had the pleasure of partnering with a dream team of vendors in August for one of our most breathtaking photo shoots to date. When Laura Murray reached out asking if she could borrow two spectacular Galia Lahav gowns to shoot on top of a mountain in Aspen, we didn’t hesitate. Smith Cabin sits on 692 private acres surrounded by national forest with rolling hills of wildflowers and views of Castle Creek and the Conundrum Valley. The cabin was the perfect setting for the August shoot, with the perfect light at, what seems like all times of day.

To top off the perfect team of vendors, we had the opportunity to shoot the Galia Lahav Ambrosia and Magnolia gowns. For the boudoir shoot inside Smith’s Cabin, Monica wore the dramatic Ambrosia gown. Ambrosia is a sheer, hand-beaded kimono dress with a high slit and a sheer tulle godet with a low asymmetrically draped back. For those incredible mountaintop shots, Monica wore Magnolia, a corseted ballerina ballgown made of soft silk tulle, a draped corset, and a sheer voluminous skirt.

Thanks to this amazing team of friendors and to Rocky Mountain Bride for the beautiful feature in Rocky Mountain Bride Volume 4!
